Much by tackling the problem and work it down. However, some issues can not be solved and checked off through our intervention, sometimes the solution lies beyond our possibilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>If in such cases we get stuck in solution attempts, we frustrate ourselves and block our energies and attention. In such cases, the solution is then: let go! If we let go of the matter we unblock ourselves at the same time. We re-encounter ourselves and become whole again. And ideally the problem gets solved by itself. Each issue has a momentum. And by letting go we express trust in this momentum and give room to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading hexagrammseiten\">Scope of Questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Concerning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/hexagram\" target=\"_self\" title=\"A hexagram is formed by two trigrams, with the movement going upwards, just like plant growth: in divination the hexagram is built from bottom to top and later read accordingly. Read more: Structure of a Hexagram Read more: Overview hexagrams\" class=\"encyclopedia\">hexagram<\/a> <em>33 &ndash; Retreat<\/em> I received further inquiries in the meantime, which take up the &ldquo;die and become&rdquo; motif:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Over a long period of time a user has invested much energy in her partnership and family. So much that it eventually made her sick. During her illness she learned something about himself: that she is strong and willing, yet has a highly sensitive core.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Another user asks: &ldquo;I feel that J. wants distance. How should I behave towards him?&rdquo; and receives hexagram <em>33 &ndash; Retreat<\/em> as an answer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading hexagrammseiten\">Case Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A user consults the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/i-ching\" target=\"_self\" title='The I&nbsp;Ching (Chinese &#63968;&#32147;, y&igrave; jing, W.-G. I&nbsp;Ching, auch: I Jing, YI&nbsp;Ching, Yi King; \"The Book of Changes\") is based on cosmology and philosophy of ancient China, particularly Daoism (Taoism). Basic ideas behind the I Ching include balance of opposites and acceptance of change. The book describes the world in 64 images which in turn&hellip;' class=\"encyclopedia\">I Ching<\/a>: &ldquo;What shall I do? My current situation is full of open issues and recently I have found myself in some fairly hostile situations.&rdquo; The I Ching responds with hexagram <em>33 &ndash; retreat<\/em>.<br>What are open issues? They are unfinished tasks, open points within our lives that we &ndash; at least for now &ndash; cannot solve and thus check off. And because we are continuously confronted with them we tend to dig ourselves into finding a solution at any cost &ndash; what consequently blocks our energies and binds our attention.<br>Hexagram <em>33 &ndash; retreat<\/em> begins with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/gen-the-mountain\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Disengagement; transformation; harmonization Gen stands for our ability to disengage. Through letting go of what has become obsolete we can focus on what is essential, concentrate our energies and make room for the new. Disengagement harmonizes and focuses our actions and results in reorientation and new beginnings. Gen invites us to honestly examine&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Gen, the mountain<\/a><\/em> (lower <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/trigram\" target=\"_self\" title=\"The eight trigrams are the basis of the I&nbsp;Ching. They are composed of three solid (Yang) or broken (Yin) lines. Two trigrams form a hexagram, one image of I&nbsp;Ching. The colored trigrams link to the respective chapters in the I Ching Course where they are explained in detail. Chinese Name Traditional Image Traditional Characteristic Modern&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">trigram<\/a>) and suggests to first of all&nbsp; disengage. Disengaging and solving are close to each other [this refers to the German words &ldquo;Loslassen&rdquo; (= to disengage) and &ldquo;L&ouml;sen&rdquo; (to solve)]: it is very well possible to solve a good part of any problem through own doing but a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/success\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Central notion of the traditional interpretation of the I Ching. Meaning: fertilization, things that simply land at one's lap without voluntary accomplishment; the receptive, feminine principle, Kun. Also represented as clouds.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">success<\/a>ful solution will always also depend on the issue&rsquo;s internal dynamics. Disengaging will thus not only give room for momentum but also unleash our own energies and attention.<br>As disengagement in the lower trigram (<em>Gen, the mountain<\/em>) freed our energies we now can move on to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/sun-the-wind\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Assertiveness; thinking, planning, acting; mental skills, insight Sun, the Wind \/ Tree, stands for a lively, pushing growth from within. Like the landscape&rsquo;s greening in the spring: self confident, powerful, without hesitation. Strategical, relentless, unstoppable. Like the wind: passing through every opening, into every corner. Phase Element: Wood Functional Circuit: Liver (LIV) Read&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Sun, the wind \/ tree<\/a><\/em> (first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/core-character\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Lines 2, 3 and 4 form a hexagram's first core character, line 3, 4 and 5 its second core character. Both core characters highlight the hexagram's internal dynamics by showing how the two trigrams are linked together and interact.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">core character<\/a>): center, reconnect with ourselves and grow.<br>In fact, many problems we encounter within our environment, in the exterior, with people around us, and often nothing but a reflection of our own inner world. We can work with these difficulties on both levels of actions: be it the external or the internal world (the latter by looking within ourselves, tracking relevant resonances, and working with them). Both are legitimate and purposeful ways.<br>The change in perspective heralded through disengagement (lower trigram; <em>Gen, the mountain<\/em>) and the resulting growth (first core character; <em>Sun, the wind \/ tree<\/em>) eventually develop into <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/qian-the-heaven\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Clarity and coherence; expression, passion, spontaneity; warmth, love; spirituality Qian represents the zenith of our human potential, a state of mind of clarity and coherence, undisturbed by worries, desires, thought loops. When our mind is clear, if we are simultaneously one with ourselves and with our goal, we become creator: the constellating power&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Qian, the heaven<\/a><\/em> (second core character and upper trigram). <em>Qian<\/em> represents our own spirit which ideally has a high degree of clarity and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/coherence\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Order, connection, pooling, similarity, symmetry\" class=\"encyclopedia\">coherence<\/a>.<br>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/zero-point-field\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Zero-point field is the name of a popular scientific theory that provides an explanation for the interaction between mind and matter (such as p. ex. psyche and body) and their constant and immanent change. The zero-point field is described as a subtle field of unconscious matter that pervades the entire creation. It constitutes the substrate&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">zero-point field<\/a> theory we can organize the (zero-point) field with our own living awareness and make it coherent. Concerns, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/desire\" target=\"_self\" title=\"In Jacques Lacan's psychoanalysis, desire is neither a conscious wish nor a reaction to a concrete need. It is an unquenchable movement of the psyche, born of a structural lack - a gap the subject can never fully close. Desire arises where something is missing - not a specific thing, but a fundamental absence within&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">desire<\/a>s, thoughts loops disturb our spiritual coherence; however, meditation furthers the integrative and cohesive forces of our personality and thus restores our connection with the whole.
