In this context <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/wu-wei\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Besides that of Dao, the concept of Wu Wei is central to Daoism and can be roughly translated as non-intervention. Jpwever, this does not mean apathy, but rather an attitude characterized by creative receptivity, attention and openness towards the environment. Only when we are aware of a situation in all its complexity and intricacy can&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Wu Wei<\/a> signifies to be with intention or to have intention. However, Wu Wei does not mean to do nothing at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Intention should not be mistaken for will.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Will is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>focused: when I use my will, I am working towards a probably externally set, more or less arbitrary goal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a state of&nbsp;<em>doing<\/em>: effort is necessary to reach that goal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>future <em>being<\/em>: will projects into the future, it has to do with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/desire\" target=\"_self\" title=\"In Jacques Lacan's psychoanalysis, desire is neither a conscious wish nor a reaction to a concrete need. It is an unquenchable movement of the psyche, born of a structural lack - a gap the subject can never fully close. Desire arises where something is missing - not a specific thing, but a fundamental absence within&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">desire<\/a> for change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Intention or Yi<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>is a condition of purposeful being.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is a state of allowing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>enables the energy to flow, guiding it on its path (the natural state of energy is to flow).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>gives energy a direction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>is targeted consciousness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>How do I bring energy into my left hand? Through being aware of my left hand. I direct my entire perception into my left hand and the energy will follow my consciousness. It is important that I direct only my consciousness into my left hand, and not my will. It does not even imply to think about the hand. Because &hellip; if I&rsquo;m thinking &ldquo;hand, hand, hand,&rdquo; &hellip; I am in my head. This causes the energy to go to my head, a place with usually too much energy, anyway.
