It will transform the entire situation. However, this new beginning has a price: we must disengage and let go of what is outdated, obsolete, an old pattern &ndash; even if it is hard to abandon something that was trusted and familiar for such a long time now. Eventually this image helps: a tree discarding old foliage, getting ready for a new cycle of life, with the old foliage serving as a fertilizer for new growth. We also need this fertilizer which is generated by disengagement: for our own forward bursting growth, which soon will interweave with the world, resonating with it in giving and taking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading hexagrammseiten\">Scope of Questions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A user asks the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/i-ching\" target=\"_self\" title='The I&nbsp;Ching (Chinese &#63968;&#32147;, y&igrave; jing, W.-G. Can I finance it?&rdquo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One user asks: &ldquo;What is my situation regarding relationships at the moment &ndash; current and future?&rdquo;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A user writes: &ldquo;I asked on a love relationship that has come to a standstill with no communication from  the other person. This relationship has been a move forward-pull back situation on both sides. It is in stasis at this point. I am not sure if it is over or not, what I should\/should not do.&rdquo;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading hexagrammseiten\">Case Study<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hexagram <em>17 &ndash; following<\/em> begins with <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/zhen-the-thunder\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Ability to make decisions; determination, enthusiasm, courage; precision; flexibility, strength Zhen represents our ability to make decisions, our determination, enthusiasm, courage, and precision; but also flexibility and strength belong to Zhen. If we look at nature, then Zhen&lsquo;s pattern of movement is that of a bud in its protective sleeve, just beginning to&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Zhen, the thunder<\/a><\/em> (lower <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/trigram\" target=\"_self\" title=\"The eight trigrams are the basis of the I&nbsp;Ching. They are composed of three solid (Yang) or broken (Yin) lines. Two trigrams form a hexagram, one image of I&nbsp;Ching. The colored trigrams link to the respective chapters in the I Ching Course where they are explained in detail. Chinese Name Traditional Image Traditional Characteristic Modern&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">trigram<\/a>): decision-making determination, enthusiasm and courage are at a (in this case probably financial) new beginning. This first motion is immediately joined by a second one: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/gen-the-mountain\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Disengagement; transformation; harmonization Gen stands for our ability to disengage. Through letting go of what has become obsolete we can focus on what is essential, concentrate our energies and make room for the new. Disengagement harmonizes and focuses our actions and results in reorientation and new beginnings. Gen invites us to honestly examine&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Gen, the mountain<\/a><\/em> (first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/core-character\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Lines 2, 3 and 4 form a hexagram's first core character, line 3, 4 and 5 its second core character. Both core characters highlight the hexagram's internal dynamics by showing how the two trigrams are linked together and interact.\" class=\"encyclopedia\">core character<\/a>): releasing and dissolving.<br>In <em>Zhen<\/em> the new situation powerfully comes to light and simultaneously releases (<em>Gen<\/em>) the outdated, obsolete, the old pattern. Amazingly both processes frequently overlap: the new has already begun, while remnants of the old continue to exist for some time. However, it is foreseeable that on the long run the new will completely overlay the old. (See also transition <em>Zhen<\/em> &rarr; <em>Gen<\/em>: the buds of the tree already open, while there are still old dry leaves on the branches.<br><em>Gen<\/em>, releasing, is a challenge for many people. We are usually very attached to the habitual, a farewell is difficult. Bu t there there is consolation: In <a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/the-image\" target=\"_self\" title='These words belong to the \"Ten Wings\" of the I&nbsp;Ching (a collection of texts which is attributed to Confucius), more precisely, to the 3rd and 4th wing; they refer to both trigrams and give clues as to what to do best. However... also Wang Bi speaks about images...' class=\"encyclopedia\">the image<\/a> of the tree dropped, withered leaves become a fertilizer for new growth. For us humans, releasing loved but obsolete habits results in new capacities. In both cases release is rewarded with new food, new energy and allows forward pressing growth into the world (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/sun-the-wind\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Assertiveness; thinking, planning, acting; mental skills, insight Sun, the Wind \/ Tree, stands for a lively, pushing growth from within. Like the landscape&rsquo;s greening in the spring: self confident, powerful, without hesitation. Strategical, relentless, unstoppable. Like the wind: passing through every opening, into every corner. Phase Element: Wood Functional Circuit: Liver (LIV) Read&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Sun, the wind \/ tree<\/a><\/em>; second core character).<br>In a third transformation, <em>Sun<\/em> finally produces <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.no2do.com\/synopse\/en\/glossar\/dui-the-lake\" target=\"_self\" title=\"Modern Interpretation: Openness, touch, acceptance; humility; connectedness, inspiration; individuation; rhythm Dui crosses the natural boundary of our self in two ways: from the inside outwardly and from the outside inwardly. From the outside inwardly means that we open ourselves to the outside, to our environment, let us be inspired and ultimately&nbsp;accept and integrate what we&hellip;\" class=\"encyclopedia\">Dui, the lake<\/a><\/em> (upper trigram). Powerful growth from our inside out (<em>Sun<\/em>) comes into contact with the surrounding world and creates resonance. Our growth is no longer an isolated individual event, but happens in the context of our environment &ndash; and exactly that is <em>Dui<\/em>&lsquo;s awareness.
